At Volcano Group we care about protecting your personal data. Volcano Group is following applicable European and Danish data protection legislation and we will only collect personal data about you within the scope of the services we provide. We work actively with data protection issues in order to stay compliant with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as well as to ensure your data is processed in a responsible and secure manner.  

Who will your data be shared with?
Your data will only be shared with relevant data processors within the Volcano Group companies (Volcano, NordicLA and Backscatter), and in some cases, we might share your personal data with external parties. Such parties might be authorities that we are under legal obligation to provide with certain information.

How will we store your data?
We can, and will, only store your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of the data collection. All personal data is stored in a GDPR accepted manner and we are regularly checking whether we have any personal data which must be deleted. However, as data is processed for various purposes, the actual storage period will vary depending on the specific purpose. For example, we may need to keep certain data about you in order to fulfil legal obligations, such as those imposed by labour law or accounting regulations.

What are your rights?

  • Right to withdraw consent. When our right to process your personal data is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

  • Right to access. If Volcano is processing your data, you have the right to access the personal data and receive a copy of the data we process about you. 

  •  Right to rectification (correction). You have the right to rectify any inaccurate data about you.

  • Right to restriction of processing. Under some circumstances you have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data.

  • Right to erasure. In some cases, you have the right to have your personal data deleted. For example if the data is no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected for.

  • Right to object. Under certain circumstances, you have the right to object to Volcano's processing of your personal data.

Personal data may also be collected when you visit our website by the use of cookies - however, never without your approval. As a visitor at any of the Volcano Group websites, you are not obligated to give us access to your personal data and you can avoid this simply by not accepting our use of cookies on your device.
